APC Presidential Primary: Counting Of Votes Commence
The presidential primaries of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) has ended and counting of votes has commenced at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
The primary election started at about 7:43 pm yesterday following the arrival of President MUHAMMADU BUHARI at the venue, more almost 10 hours behind schedule.
A total of 14 aspirants are on the ballot, after 7 aspirants stepped down from the race in favour of BOLA AHMED TINUBU, while 1 other aspirant also stepped down for Vice-President YEMI OSINBAJO, with KEN NNAMANI pulling out of the race altogether.
Meanwhile, in his speech, President MUHAMMADU BUHARI urged party members to vote their conscience in selecting their preferred candidate.
