Russian President, VLADIMIR PUTIN has announced additional pay bonuses to health professionals working on the frontline of the country’s fight against the corona virus.

President PUTIN listed the bonuses as part of new measures to support Russians during the epidemic after health officials reported over 1,000 new COVID-19 cases.

The President promised a sum of 132 million dollars for monthly bonuses to health care employees nationwide.

The new package will see doctors treating corona virus patients paid an additional 1,059 dollars per month, while nurses, ambulance medics and drivers would get between 330 dollars and 660 dollars.
