The Special Adviser to the Ogun State Governor on Environment OLA ORESANYA said the state government would come up with a plan to construct drainages so as to prevent a repeat of the flooding experienced in Olorunsogo community.
ORESANYA, who doubles as the CEO of the Ogun State Waste Management Authority said this while addressing newsmen after inspecting the flooded areas of the community.
OLA ORESANYA noted that the area was mostly a floodplain, which makes it vulnerable to flooding.
Meanwhile, he also warned residents of the state to prepare for torrential rain fall that will lead to heavy flooding between July 8-July 15, and advised residents living in wetlands to evacuate from such areas.
