The Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, TUNJI BELLO has warned Lagosians of impending heavy rains in September and October.
The commissioner said the forecast of 270 days rain from June had been witnessed but more would come in September and October.
BELLO therefore called on residents of Kosofe, Ajegunle, Owode Oniri, Agiliti and Ketu to move to safer locations as 18 million cubic litres of water is set to be released from the Oyan Dam next month.
