The president of Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria, Dr. MOHAMMED ALKALI, says hot temperature does not prevent the spread of the novel corona virus.

ALKALI who made this known while delivering a lecture on the disease in Bauchi state stated that it was erroneous for people to assume that places with high temperatures could not be affected by the virus.

He pointed out that countries with higher heat like Saudi Arabia had recorded more cases of the virus, adding that practicing social distancing helps in containing its spread.
