The leadership of Team–SERVICE, a broad-based coalition of political parties in Ogun State, has announced the appointment of Hon. Olujobi Ezekiel, Chairman of the National Rescue Movement (NRM) in the state, as Director-General of the Team–SERVICE Campaign Council ahead of the 2026 IPAC election.
The appointment was conveyed in a letter dated Monday, January 5, 2026, according to a statement signed by Hon. Oke Rotimi Michael, State Chairman of ACCORD Ogun State and Convener of the Team IPAC 2026 Election Campaign.
Oke said Olujobi’s selection was based on his proven leadership capacity, deep institutional understanding, commitment to service, and reputation for integrity, fairness and unbiased political engagement. He added that the ability to coordinate diverse party interests with discipline, balance and strategic clarity also weighed heavily in the decision.
According to the Convener, the 2026 IPAC election, which involves all registered political parties in Ogun State, represents a critical moment for the future leadership, credibility and performance of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC). He noted that Team–SERVICE has adopted a reform-driven agenda anchored on renewal, unity, integrity and transparent leadership, in line with the founding vision of IPAC.
As Director-General, Hon. Olujobi Ezekiel will serve as the Chief Coordinator and Administrative Head of the Team–SERVICE Campaign Council. His responsibilities include providing strategic direction, coordinating campaign activities and committees, fostering inclusiveness and synergy among participating parties, promoting the constitution and integrity of IPAC, and ensuring adherence to due process and electoral guidelines.
Oke further disclosed that Team–SERVICE’s vision is to reposition IPAC as a revered, transparent, united and service-oriented institution that genuinely represents the interests of political parties in Ogun State. The coalition’s philosophy, he said, is rooted in core values of service before self, integrity and accountability, unity in diversity, transparency in leadership, respect for due process and peaceful political participation.
He stated that if entrusted with leadership, Team–SERVICE plans to restore the dignity of IPAC, eliminate cabal-driven administration and godfatherism, establish a constitutionally compliant financial management system, and entrench a culture of servant-leadership based on humility, inclusivity and consultation.
Proposed initiatives under the coalition’s agenda include the establishment of an IPAC library for political education, welfare and intervention programmes, leadership training and capacity-building projects, promotion of peaceful coexistence among political parties, and the introduction of candidate engagement platforms, town hall meetings and public debates in collaboration with the media and other stakeholders.
Expressing confidence in the appointment, Hon. Oke Rotimi Michael said Hon. Olujobi Ezekiel possesses the capacity to discharge the responsibility with honesty, impartiality and commitment to collective growth, in line with the ideals of Service, Inclusion, Responsibility, Credibility and Excellence.
The statement concluded with Team–SERVICE reaffirming its commitment to people-focused leadership, unity among political parties and the repositioning of IPAC as a strong, credible and respected democratic institution dedicated to the development of Ogun State.
