The Edo State House of Assembly Service Commission has nullified the recent issuance of employment letters to 324 individuals, describing the action as unauthorized, illegal and of no effect.
In a public notice dated December 1, 2025, and signed by the Chairman of the Commission, Hon. Sir Ezehi MD Igbas, and the Secretary, Mrs. Isoken Nehi-Olotu, the Commission stated that the job offers did not follow due process and were issued without approval.
The Commission stressed that all letters already issued are invalid and should be disregarded by the recipients.
It also tendered an unreserved apology to all affected persons, noting that it regrets any inconvenience caused by the unauthorized exercise.
The statement assures the public of the Commission’s commitment to due process and proper administrative conduct going forward.
