In a circular the acting chief registrar of the state, TAJUDEEN ELIAS said the directive takes effect from April 1.

The circular said all applications for virtual hearings must be made to the court before the commencement of the matter.

The document said payment should be made upon approval to the court while the case would be scheduled for a hearing by the assistant chief registrar of litigation in Ikeja or Lagos as soon as money is received.

According to the circular, no other office or officer is authorised to conduct or schedule cases for virtual proceedings in the high and magistrate courts of Lagos state.
