The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council, Comrade Festus Alenkhe has expressed appreciation Edo state Governor, Godwin Obaseki for his support to the union over the years.

In his remarks when the Governor visited the NUJ Press Centre in Benin City, Comrade Alenkhe also prayed the Governor to sustain his support for the union.

Governor Obaseki lauded the union's leadership for its giant strides, including the sanity that the present executive brought into journalism practice in the state.

During the visit, the Governor announced the provision of a Coaster Bus to the union and the installation of internet facility to the Press Centre, using the state government installed fiber.
