Speaking at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) branch office in Benin, the state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Obo Effanga, said the electoral body decided to commence the distribution in time to ensure there was no delay of reaching all parts of the states.

Some representatives of the political parties expressed optimism that the process will be an improvement on the presidential and national assembly elections.
