Leaders and residents of Idogbo Community in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State have hailed the impact of various interventions by the Edo State Oil and Gas Production Development Agency (EDSOGPADEC).

Gloria Afajagbe reports that the residents are in high spirit as some of the projects are now attracting development to the area.

Earlier this year, the interventionist agency of the Edo State Government handed over a newly constructed magistrate court to the community and performed the groundbreaking ceremony of a magistrate court in Egba community.

When Super FM news crew visited Idogbo Community to assess the usage of the facility and its impact on socioeconomic activities in the area, the Enogie of Idogbo community, Pa Edonrodion Osarobon commended the chairman of ESDSOGPADEC Pastor Kennedy Osifo for developing and impacting in the community positively.

Elder Eric Arebokina also lauded the commission for its interventions beginning with the construction of a primary healthcare centre in 2019.

Some of the residents said they are enjoying the infrastructural projects and human capital development efforts in Idogbo.

The Edo state Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission ESDSOGPADEC operates within its mandate areas of Ikpoba Okha, Orhionmwon and Ovia North East Local Government Areas of the state.
