President Muhammadu Buhari has called on Nigerians to see themselves as critical stakeholders in the realization of the Nigeria of their dreams.

President Buhari gave the charge at the award investiture ceremony of recipients of national honours comprising Nigerians and non-Nigerians labelled friends of Nigeria.

He noted that the National Honours are not merely decorative but ought to remind all Nigerians of their responsibility as citizens. 

Some of the award recipients including Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and the Chairman Troyka Holdings Limited, Biodun Shobanjo pledged to recommit themselves to the quest for a greater Nigeria.

A total of 447 Nigerians were invested with awards in various categories by the Federal Government.
