Barely 24 hours after the abduction of 11 passengers in Ondo State, the Minister of Information, LAI MOHAMMED, has assured Nigerians that the military is restoring security to the country.

MOHAMMED made the claim at a press briefing with the Ministers of Defense, Maj-Gen. BASHIR MAGASHI; Interior, RAUF AREGBESOLA; Police Affairs, MOHAMMED DINGYADI; and the Chief of Defense Staff, Gen. LEO IRABOR, promising that never again, will terrorists, bandits, and their cohorts hold sway in the country.

Although LAI MOHAMMED stated that the government has yet to completely end the security challenges in the country, the minister said he believes the worst is over.

He commended the President for his leadership, saying he remained resolute at a time when many lost all hope and thought it was over.
