The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI)has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with some Israeli and Japanese companies to commence the assembling and manufacturing of electric and smart motorcycle by the year 2023.

The Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria, MICHAEL FREEMAN, says the partnership would combine Israeli, Japanese and Nigerian technologies, and would help in address the many challenges affecting the transportation sector in Nigeria.

Prof. MOHAMMED HARUNA, Executive Vice Chairman, NASENI, lauded the collaboration which he said had come to stay and would be domesticated in the country.

Prof. HARUNA said that this project Nigeria would see to the manufacturing of Nigerian made electrical vehicles in the nearest future.
