The federal executive council has approved the sum of 2.59billion dollars for the Badagry Deep Seaport Project which will run under a Public-Private Partnership.

The Minister of Transportation MU’AZU SAMBO said the project will be concessioned to a private firm for a period of 45 years before reverting to the Federal government. 

The Minister said the investment will help create jobs and bring revenue to the government, as well as contribute to the nation’s economy.
