5 passengers who were abducted on March 28 aboard an Abuja-Kaduna train have been freed by their abductors.

A member of the negotiating team, TUKUR MAMU confirmed the release of the victims.

With the release of the 5 additional hostages, a total of 27 victims have now regained their freedom, while 35 people are still in captivity.
