President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has blamed the security situation in the country on the political instability in Libya, which he says has continued to fuel terrorism in the Sahel, West and Central African regions.

President BUHARI stated this while receiving the letters of credence from the new Canadian High Commissioner to Nigeria, JAMES KINGSTON and the new Ambassador of Mexico to Nigeria, ALFRED MIRANDA.

President MUHAMMADU BUHARI however said that the federal government is making all possible efforts to tackle banditry, terrorism and other criminal activities in the country.

President BUHARI also called for more international collaboration to tackle insecurity.
