Gunmen suspected to be bandits, last night, launched an attack in Owo, headquarters of Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Confirming the incident, the state police command public relations officer, SP. FUNMILAYO ODUNLAMI,  the attack happened at Folahami Junction axis, where they  were said to have opened fire on everyone on sight, injuring some persons. 

The latest attack is coming some 7 weeks after a similar incident occurred at a catholic church which led to the death of over 40 worshippers
