Relatives Of Kaduna Train Attack Victims Protest At Transportation Ministry


Once again the plight of the kidnapped victims of the March 28 attack on an Abuja-Kaduna train have been laid bare in public.

 

Over the weekend, a video went viral showing the terrorists intensely flogging the male victims and threatening to kidnap President MUHAMMADU BUHARI and Kaduna State Governor, NASIR EL- RUFAI. 

 

In the eleven-minute video released by the insurgents, the threatened to kill the victims if the Federal Government failed to meet up with their demands, and further claimed that one of the escapees of the Kuje prison had rejoined them in the forest.

 

Today makes it 119 days after the attack on an Abuja-Kaduna train, with some of the kidnapped victims still in captivity.

 

Earlier today, relatives of the kidnapped victims of the train attack protested at the headquarters of the Ministry of Transportation in Abuja.

 

The relatives who occupied the main entrance to the ministry asked the Federal Government to take steps to secure the release of their loved ones who have been in captivity since March 28.

 

Many of the women among them were seen sitting on the floor in distress and agony, crying out for help in getting their loved ones rescued.
