The Nigeria labour congress has explained why it is embarking on a 2-day protest  in solidarity with the striking varsity lecturers. 

NLC president, AYUBBA WABBA, in an interview, debunked a claim that the NLC is conducting a protest. 

AYUBBA WABBA noted that the issues between University Unions and the Government could be resolved within 24hours if there is a display of seriousness.
