A former chieftain of the All-Progressive Congress, APC, DANIEL BWALA, has said he resigned from All-Progressives Congress because his principle contradicts the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the APC in the 2023 elections. 

BWALA, made his position known while featuring on a television programme in Abuja, where explained that his stand contradicts the choice of BOLA TINUBU choosing a Muslim as his running mate in next year's presidential poll. 

BWAYA who noted that such an arrangement discredits the principles of equity, justice, also stated that there is no law that restricts a candidate from choosing from the same faith-based ticket; but the country is presently being governed along so many fault lines
