Ogun state government has asked local Government officials to comply with the relevant law and process, set up to regulate all procurement activities of government across the State.

The Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement, Dr. ADESINA OLANLOYE said this during a one-day course and meeting on Strategic Development and Due Process in Public Procurement, organized for Procurement Planning Committee members in the Local Government offices.

Dr. OLANLOYE stressed the need for the committee members to get familiar with the procurement laws for implementation and incorporate them into their procurement activities.

He noted that the fundamental principles of the procurement process prescribed by law to include Accountability, Transparency, Open Competitiveness, Fairness, and Professionalism.
