President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has asked authorities of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) to immediately set up a situation room for the coordination of the rescue efforts for Kaduna -Abuja attack hostages.

President BUHARI gave the directive while hosting some residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), who paid the traditional Sallah homage to him at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

BUHARI noted that Muslims across the country are celebrating the end of the Ramadan fasting with joy, but the families of those held in captivity.

The president added that he has directed security agencies to begin the rescue of all hostages in all parts of the country.
