Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the 19 northern states and the Federal Capital Territory, have rejected the consensus candidacy of the former President of the Senate, BUKOLA SARAKI, and Governor BALA MOHAMMED of Bauchi State.

This came after the duo got endorsed by the former military President, General IBRAHIM BADAMASI BABANGIDA’s-brokered consensus arrangement.

The northern elders who met in Abuja, kicked against the sectional arrangement and maintained through their spokesperson SULE LAMIDO, that there was nothing called the Northern PDP as claimed in the IBB arrangement.
