The Minority Caucus of the House of Representatives has demanded an immediate investigation over the alleged attack on the Kaduna International Airport over the weekend.

The House Minority Leader, Hon. NDUDI ELUMELU, in a statement, said that the attack on the airport is another alarming observation on the collapse of Nigeria’s national security and intelligence gathering coordination.

Hon. ELUMELU said that the attack which comes at a time when roads, railways, and communities are being overrun by terrorists, and kidnappers, has sent a signal to the international community regarding the worsening insecurity in Nigeria.

The minority caucus also asked the executive branch to immediately beef up security in all the nation’s airports and other public facilities so as to prevent a re-occurrence of the incident.
