The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, ABUBAKAR MALAMI, has approved the seizure of the assets of suspended deputy commissioner of police, ABBA KYARI, and his co-accused.

With this development, ABBA KYARI and his accomplices may lose their cash and money in bank accounts; vehicles; real estate, hotels, residential and commercial buildings; personal effects such as wristwatches, jewelry, and other valuable possessions.

The NDLEA requested to freeze the accused assets after the agency traced 4.2billion naira to suspended ABBA KYARI, and his co-accused, SUNDAY UBUA’S bank accounts.
