The Federal Executive council has approved the sum of five billion naira to reinforce power supply in Lagos and Ogun states.

This was disclosed by the Minister of Power, ABUBAKAR ALIYU, after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by the Vice President, Professor YEMI OSINBAJO.

ALIYU who also declared the recovery of the national grid that collapsed few days ago, said the shortage of gas and maintenance of generators, were factors that exacerbated the problem with the national grid.
