The Yoruba socio-political group, AFENIFERE HAS hailed the release of Sunday Adeyemo by the Benin Republic Government. 

In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Comrade JARE AJAYI, it described the release of IGBOHO as a triumph over darkness in Yoruba land. 

IGBOHO, who was released on Monday to Prof. BANJI AKINTOYE, and his deputy Professor WALE ADENIRAN, has been in detention in Benin Republic since April 2021.
