The National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) has threatened a mass action by Nigerian students if the Federal Government does not resolve its disagreement with the Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) within 1 week.

The President of the association, SUNDAY ADEDAYO, said this shortly after signing the reviewed Constitution of the association at the Sokoto State Government House.

SUNDAY ADEDAYO noted that the Union gave the Federal Government a 1-week ultimatum till February 28 to meet and resolve the issue with ASUU.

He lamented the attitude of the Federal Government who he accused of playing hide and seek with ASUU since 2009 when they signed an agreement with the academic union.
