NIGERIAN champions, Rivers Angels finally departed Lagos for Cairo, Egypt yesterday, where they will take part in the first-ever CAF Women’s Champions League, which begins today.

The Angels were initially billed to travel to Cairo on Tuesday but the team could not as visas were not issued to some of the players.

The travelling team comprises 24 players and nine officials.
