Three candidates in the Anambra governorship election calls for dialogue with IPOB

Three candidates in the Anambra governorship election have called for dialogue with the Indigenous People of Biafra.

The three candidates, Senator ANDY UBA of the All Progressives Congress, Professor CHARLES SOLUDO of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, and VALENTINE OZIGBO of the People’s Democratic Party, said this during an election debate organized by the Enough is Enough group.

Senator UBA suggested engagement with the group, so as to know their problem.

Professor SOLUDO, on his part said that the IPOB group deserves to be heard, noting that their agitation cannot be shot down by a gun.

Meanwhile, VALENTINE OZIGBO blamed the federal and state governments for the way the group’s agitation has turned out, and called for the release of IPOB leader, NNAMDI KANU and for the group to be de-proscribed by government.
