The Department of State Services (DSS) says it is not currently carrying out any recruitment exercise.

According to a statement by the agency’s Public Relations Officer, PETER AFUNANYA, the clarification became necessary to debunk various false messages by fraudsters to scam unsuspecting job seekers or their sponsors.

AFUNANYA said the public should note that recruitment into the Service is never done on a monetary basis, adding that instead, it is guided by merit and transparency.

The service PRO warned those engaged in misleading acts of raising false recruitment alerts or defrauding others to desist from such or be ready to face the music.
