Togolese President FAURE GNASSINGBE has been inaugurated yesterday for another five years to extend his 15-year reign after winning in February.

The inauguration went ahead despite Togo having 123 cases and nine deaths, according to the Africa Centre for Disease Control and Prevention.

With borders closed, it was only attended by diplomats already in the country.
