The Lagos the State Solicitor-General, TITILAYO SHITTA-BEY-JEJE has said it is better to promote peaceful co-existence than run after criminals.

SHITTA-BEY-JEJE stated this during the commemoration of the United Nations International Day of Peace 2023, held at the Lagos State Citizens Mediation Centre’s office in Ikeja.

The Solicitor-General said that teaching people to embrace amicable settlement of disputes would reduce conflict in different communities across the state and, consequently, would reduce litigation and the amount of taxpayers’ money used in funding them.
