The Supreme Court sitting in Abuja has fixed August 31, 2020, for the judgement in the appeal filed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, MUSA WADA in the November 16, 2019 Governorship election in Kogi state.

WADA is challenging the election victory of the All Progressives Congress APC candidate YAHAYA BELLO as the Governor of Kogi State.

His party the PDP is insisting that its candidate won the governorship election and that the state was riddled with serious electoral infractions.
