The Super Falcons jersey to the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France is in the lead following votes for the tournament’s Top 4 best jerseys by FIFA.

The world football governing body announced this on its Women’s World Cup Twitter page.

Other jerseys also nominated are that of Australia, England and Germany.

The Falcons jersey was ahead with 41.6 per cent of the votes, ahead of England, second with 22.2 per cent.

The German women’s team placed third with 19.7 per cent while Australia placed fourth with 16.6 per cent.

Falcons qualified for the knockout stage of the Women’s World Cup for the first time in 20 years in France.
