Sudan has announced 24 new infections with COVID-19, bringing the total number of the confirmed cases in the country to 237.

Sudan’s Health Ministry in a statement says the death toll reached 21 adding that the total number of recoveries is now 20.

Early this month, the capital Khartoum entered into a full curfew as part of the measures to stem the virus spread.

It urged the citizens to abide by the health guidelines and immediately report any suspected cases.
