The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors says it will embark on a nationwide strike from Thursday.
In a statement jointly signed by its President, Secretary-General, and Publicity Secretary, the union said the industrial action would be total and indefinite, should the Federal Government fail to meet its demands.
The Resident Doctors explained that the decision to go on strike was taken at the extraordinary National Executive Council of the union held on Saturday at the National Hospital in Abuja.
