The National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), JULIUS ABURE, has been released by the Nigeria Police Force Zone 5 in Benin City, the Edo State capital.

The spokesperson for the Nigeria Police Force Zone 5, TIJANI MOMOH said ABURE, and others were released on bail this morning around 2am.

After his release, ABURE, while addressing his supporters, said the struggle to liberate the people does not come easy.

He said his persecution, meant to destabilize the party, started after the general election in 2023.
