The Peoples Democratic Party PDP has commenced its governorship primary election in Edo State, with all other aspirants stepping down for Governor GODWIN OBASEKI.

The primaries committee is being chaired by Governor BALA MOHAMMED of Bauchi State, with federal and state executives of the party in attendance.

A total of 2,229 delegates are expected to vote on who emerges as the party’s candidate ahead of the state governorship election scheduled for September.
