The state police command has arrested some suspected kidnappers of a traditional ruler, Oba TAJUDEEN OMOTAYO and some students of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ayetoro campus.

The Commissioner of Police, EDWARD AJOGUN, paraded the suspects at the headquarters of the Ogun State Police Command in Abeokuta.

EDWARD AJOGUN said the suspects confessed that they were behind the kidnap of a doctor and a nurse along the Abeokuta-Imeko Road.

The suspects, UMARU USMAN, MOHAMMED BELLO, and BABUGA ABUBAKAR, confessed to a series of kidnap cases in the Ayetoro, Olorunda, and Imeko areas of the state.
