The Ogun State government says more than 70,000 youths in the State are currently involved in crops and livestock production, while about 3,000 more are ready to explore the advantage inherent in the dairy sub-sector.
The State Governor, DAPO ABIODUN, disclosed this at the Virtual Launch and Unveiling of the Centre for Nigerian Dutch Dairy Development in Nigeria.
Governor ABIODUN noted that the State farmers are already part of the 9000 workforces trained by the parent company of the milk producer.
He said the state would partner with the company to explore opportunities in the sub-sector.
