The Oyo State Governor, SEYI MAKINDE, has sacked the Commissioner for Works, Infrastructure, and Transport, Professor RAPHAEL AFONJA.

Governor MAKINDE’s directive was contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government OLUBAMIWO ADEOSUN, and quoted in a statement issued by the media aide to the Governor TAIWO ADISA.

The Governor also approved the redeployment of two Commissioners, BAYO LAWAL AND FUNMILAYO ORISADEYI, with the duo asked to swap portfolios.

LAWAL, the Commissioner for Special Duties was redeployed to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, with ORISADEYI redeployed from the Ministry of Local Government to the Ministry of Special Duties.
