The Spanish Ministry of Health, Consumer Affairs and Social Services says over 100,000 people have recovered from the corona virus in the country. 

According to the daily figures published by the ministry, 100,875 patients have beaten the virus, an increase of 2,144 over the last 24 hours.

The Madrid regional government also announced that the falling infection rate means that the field hospital at the IFEMA Exhibition Centre with a capacity to care for 5,500 patients will close on May 1st.
