The Osun State government has discharged the index case of corona virus in the state.

The State Governor, GBOYEGA OYETOLA, announced this at a press briefing.

Governor OYETOLA says the patient was discharged after recovering following treatment at the Isolation centre in Osogbo, the state capital.

The governor added that 110 Ivory Coast returnees who were initially isolated over suspicion of COVID-19 have also been released.
