The Royal Spanish Football Federation was unable to meet the government’s health protocol following the corona virus outbreak, thus the termination of the women’s league.

The announcement saw Barcelona reclaim the league crown for the first time since 2015 despite being unable to see out their remaining games due to the Covid-19 crisis.

The Nigerian had a fantastic season before the suspension of the league; scoring 20 goals and helping her club win the league without losing a game, to become the fifth team to achieve the feat.
