Lawmakers in the Ondo State House of Assembly have served impeachment notice on the state embattled Deputy Governor, AGBOOLA AJAYI.

This took place at the plenary session presided over by the Speaker of the Assembly, BAMIDELE OLEYELOGUN.

14 of the 26 members of the Assembly signed the notice, while nine voted against the decision.

The deputy governor has been at the centre of the storm following his resignation from the All Progressives Congress and defection to the Peoples Democratic Party.
