Residents of Okepo Community, Ijebu Imushin of Ijebu East Local Government Area of Ogun State have lamented the breakdown of the transformer supplying electricity to the community.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Chairman Okepo CDA, MR ADENIJI OKEPOPO and Baale Okepo MUDASHIR. ADELANA.

According to the statement, the epileptic power supply started when the Idokunsi Community transformer broke down in 2016 and the IBEDC Office transferred their load to Okepo Community’s transformer instead of carrying out necessary repair.

He added that Okepo community has continued to experienced power outage, fluctuation and power cut since 2016.

The community is appealing to the IBEDC to carry out necassry repairs on the transformer serving Idokunsi community and remove the excess load on Okepo Community’s transformer.
