As part of efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, Ogun State has unveiled a set of automatic solar hand washing machines, invented by Technology Incubation Centre, T.I.C., Abeokuta, to enhance regular hand washing among the people in a safe, cost-effective and hygienic manner.

The Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, KIKELOMO LONGE, while unveiling the automatic solar hand washing machine in Abeokuta, described the product as an innovation which complements the efforts of the DAPO ABIODUN-led administration in the battle against Coronavirus.

LONGE who further charged the T.I.C. to develop more products for the benefit of the State and humanity, called on entrepreneurs in the State to emulate the inventors and support government’s effort at curtailing the spread of the virus by coming up with more innovations that would boost the State’s economy and bring succor to the people.
