The Ogun State Commissioner for Health, Dr. TOMI COKER has announced that the state testing capacity for COVID 19 has increased to 1000 per day.

The Commissioner made this known while featuring on a current affairs programme this morning.

Dr. COKER says that the state has launched two new molecular diagnostic laboratories to fight the corona virus pandemic.

The State Commissioner for Health also addressed the safety of the frontline health workers of the state and the issue of Personal Protective Equipments.

TOMI COKER explained that the state health workers have access to a dedicated mobile app to update them with information from Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and World Health Organization WHO.
